One week later, as the garden party was drawing near, there was a busy atmosphere in the castle because of the preparations. The detached room where lived the Crown Princess was no exception.

 

“Gasp, just a little here, will the front be decent, I wonder?”

 

Tinaria was listening to the comments of Maria who was in the middle of adjusting the dress.

 

“Ugh…”

 

However, Maria stifled her tears, holding the dress that was cut off.

 

“E, even though it was the only decent dress~”

“It cannot be helped. That is because I cannot go to the garden party if I don’t have anything to wear.”

 

With her marriage, only one wedding dress and simple old dresses were handed over from Lidea. Of course, it was not something that one could wear at a tea party and even less at a garden party. Maria tried to order a dress, but it was rejected because she could not afford it.

Therefore, since Tinaria didn’t have anything to wear, she decided without regret to cut with scissors the sleeveless wedding dress. She cut off the long hem, added a colored cloth on top, and the dress looked like that now.

The dress, showing the extent of Tinaria’s sewing skills, didn’t look luxurious because of the quality of the cloth put on top, but looked decent.

 

As a Princess of Lidea, she thought that she would not receive proper treatment at the garden party. However, as a Crown Princess, she at least wanted to have a suitable appearance. Tinaria remembered the beautiful profile of Keithfalt she didn’t have a lot of opportunity to see recently. Although she was an unwanted bride from the start, she didn’t want to disappoint him any further.
